Mission Statement

1.To preserve, promote, and market the TEXAS LONGHORN.

2.To show the commercial/traditional, cattle/beef breeder/
operator longhorn/longhorn cross genetics have a place in that
industry and that we are a viable part of that industry.

3.Develop a strong market
for recreational/"roper", lower end cattle.

4.Work in conjunction with charities in the state to help
children and the disadvantaged, while making the MLA
name well known in the community.
I.E. Children's Miracle Network, Salvation Army,
Cowboys for Christ, and Kick Drugs out of America.

5.Promote the lean beef aspect of the longhorn meat.

6.To accentuate all the many positives of the breed
while dispelling the perceived negatives.

7.To accentuate the moral ideals of the American cowboy in
our everyday lives, and our dealings financial or otherwise within
or outside of the MLA.

8.To be constantly marketing our cattle and the MLA.
